Come For a Walk
This is by far the easiest way to get there and usually the quickest. When you leave Flinders Street Station, head out onto Flinders Street and walk north up Swanston Street or Elizabeth Street. Once you reach Collins Street, turn right and continue east until you reach number 260. It should take about 5 to 7 minutes at a normal pace, and of course, it’s free!A Quick Tram Ride
If the weather is not great or you would prefer not to walk, you can take a tram. The whole trip is within Melbourne’s Free Tram Zone, so you won’t need to pay. From the station, walk to the tram stops along Swanston Street and catch any northbound tram, including routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 or 72. Get off at the Collins Street and Swanston Street stop, then walk east along Collins Street to 260. Alternatively, you can catch an eastbound tram along Collins Street, such as routes 11, 12, 48 or 109, and get off at the stop closest to number 260. The tram itself only takes a few minutes, though once you factor in waiting time, it is often about the same as walking.POST OFFICE
